Eligibility:

Press badges are available only to members of the media who meet the following criteria:

- You must be actively employed or engaged as a journalist, reporter, blogger, or photographer.

- You should be able to provide samples of your work or present a valid press ID from a recognized media organization.

- Freelancers and independent journalists are also welcome to apply, provided they can demonstrate their professional affiliation and purpose for attending.

Application Process:

To apply for a press badge, please fill out the online application form on our official website. Make sure to provide accurate and up-to-date information. Along with the application, you will need to submit supporting documents, such as a resume, portfolio, or press ID. These documents should clearly demonstrate your professional background and affiliation. After receiving your application, our team will review it thoroughly. Please allow up to two weeks for a response. If your application is approved, you will receive a confirmation email with further instructions.

Press Badge Benefits:

A press badge grants you complimentary public access to Kelowna ComiCon for all days of the event. As a badge holder, you will have access to designated press areas and opportunities for interviews, press conferences, and photo opportunities with guests and celebrities. Press badge holders will also receive a booklet containing event information, schedule, and other relevant materials.

It is important to note that press badges do not grant early access or special privileges. They also do not allow you to bypass lines or cut queues. Furthermore, having a press badge does not guarantee you interviews, reserved seats at any specific event or access to autographs, including free autographs from guests.

Press Badge Usage Guidelines:

- Press badges are strictly personal and non-transferable. They cannot be shared or sold.

- Badge holders are expected to conduct themselves professionally and adhere to journalistic ethics while covering the event.

- Any interviews, photography, or audio/video recordings must be conducted with the consent of the individuals involved.

- Press badge holders are encouraged to share their coverage of Kelowna ComiCon through their respective media channels, but it should be done in a responsible and respectful manner.

We appreciate your interest in Kelowna ComiCon and value the contributions of the press in promoting the event. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to contact our team at info@kelownacomicon.com. We look forward to welcoming you at the event!
