Guest Creator - Sabine Bauer

We're delighted to announce that Sabine Bauer, who regrettably had to cancel their visit last year due to the tragic fires, will be returning this year. We're thrilled to welcome them back for Kelowna Comicon 2024!
Sabine, originally from Germany, is a writer and editor who now lives on the BC Sunshine Coast. Many years ago, at about 30 minutes to midnight, she stumbled into the Stargate SG-1 fandom and eventually started writing fanfiction.
Sabine turned her passion for fanfiction into a career when she partnered with the publishing company Fandemonium to turn several of her stories into novels. Sabine has also contributed several short stories to the published anthology The Traveler’s Tales.
Sabine is currently on a writing hiatus and is pursuing her day job as an editor, but is ready to share her journey from fanfiction writer to published author. Sabine’s wit and wisdom are sure to make her panels as informative as they are entertaining.
For anyone who has dreamt of turning their passion for storytelling into a career, a visit to Sabine’s panel is a must!
