We regret to announce the cancellation of Kelowna Comicon 2021.
We were very hopeful that we would be able to host KCC 2021 this August. However, based on the information we have received from Interior Health about large-scale events, we have determined that KCC’s expected attendance is greater than allowed and would not comply with the current safety standards. Unfortunately, this means that KCC won’t be able to safely happen this year.
Fortunately, it looks like there should be no issues going forward next year. As such, we are pleased to announce that we will be returning next August for KCC 2022! With the Capital News Centre as our new venue, look forward to next year being bigger and better than ever before. We hope to make it our greatest show to date!
To all of our vendors and attendees who chose to defer their tickets/payments: thank you for your continuing support during these difficult times. We will be offering a full refund to everyone who chose to defer their payments to 2021.
To our attendees: those of you who chose to defer your tickets were promised a special thank-you gift at our 2021 event. You will still receive your gift! Our team will be in touch with you about processing them soon.
To our vendors: those of you who chose to defer your booth payments will be guaranteed a spot at KCC 2022 should you desire to return.
We ask for your patience in the refunding process. Our team will begin right away, but it may take a bit of time for us to contact everyone. You will be notified as soon as your refund has been processed.
Thank you all so much for your support through these turbulent times! Stay tuned for more updates about KCC 2022. Stay safe and healthy, and we look forward to seeing you all next year!
