About Chiyunek0

Chiyunek0 is a cosplayer, photographer, and creative at heart who has been obsessed with bringing characters to life for over 13 years. Fueled by a deep love for anime and video games, her passion for cosplay shines through in her desire to bring her favourite characters to life through visual storytelling and photography. She is most known for her obsession with Dota 2, where she has competed at The International in Seattle and Copenhagen, judged the cosplay competition in Hamburg, and spent way too many hours playing the game.

She started her journey in art class, where she decided to make a wearable piece as Ahri from League of Legends. No sewing machine, just hand sewing, audacity, and a whole lot of determination. Much of her early cosplay days were built on self-taught techniques, scrappy and ingenious ways to craft on a student budget, and sharing everything she learned with friends and the community around her.

From those roots, Chiyunek0 believes cosplay is one of the best spaces out there for people to express their creativity, make new friends, and build real confidence in themselves. She's a fierce advocate for the idea that cosplay is for everybody - that it doesn't need to be expensive, intimidating, or perfect. It just needs to make you happy!
