Please welcome John Gallagher to Kelowna ComiCon 2026!!

About John Gallagher

It's all just a highly unlikely but true story of a very lucky kid trapped in an adult's body who gets to dream out loud or a living. That story started when John began his tenure professionally storytelling as Director of Concept Art at Bioware from 1995 to 2004, during their golden age: the  entire Baldur's Gate series, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, Mass Effect, Neverwinter Nights and Dragon Age: Origins.  After parting ways with BioWare, it was time to explore other options and the can't pass it up option revealed itself as my first TV series Fear Itself in 2007.

Since relocating to Vancouver after the show, John has been lucky enough to have worked on a wide range of projects, contributing to features and series such as The Boys, The ExpanseFalling SkiesMan in the High CastleThe Flash, Supergirl, Dr Strange Multiverse of Madness and many others.  He’s currently writing and drawing his first full length comic series and several other exciting NDA projects.

Most recently, he wrapped on Witch Mountain, The Abandons, Night Beast, and most near and dear to his heart, has teamed up with his daughter Rynn for their generational artcentric podcast Knack 'n Kat, soon to be available on all streaming platforms. In his downtime, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, diving into both high culture and lowbrow kitsch with abandon, engaging in good conversation and pondering life in this shared reality substrate.
