We’re beyond excited to have Anjali Bhimani as a guest for Kelowna ComiCon 2026!


About Anjali

Anjali Bhimani is an award-winning actor whose career spans across Broadway, feature films, television, video games, animation, and digital content.


As a globally recognized talent in the gaming industry, she has been celebrated for her work in AAA projects as well as indie games. She is perhaps best known for her roles as Symmetra in Overwatch and Rampart in Apex Legends, Medusa in the Grammy nominated Stray Gods, the Fallout series, Starfield, and many more.


Last year she appeared in eight newly released video games, including Avowed, Obsidian's highly anticipated first-person RPG, in which she voiced Yatzli, the first Orlan wizard who is a main companion character. Additionally, she voiced the Game Master and all NPCs in Sunderfolk, a tactical couch co-op RPG by DreamHaven released in April. She also became the newest playable operator, Priya Zhaveri, in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 in December.


A familiar face in the world of tabletop roleplaying games, Anjali as also appeared in wildly popular series like Critical Role’s Exandria Unlimited & Candela Obscura, Dimension 20’s The Ravening War, the LEGO x Dungeons and Dragons collaboration Game Night for LEGO and Wizards of the Coast, and more. Anjali also co-executive produced and starred in the first season and winter special of DesiQuest, an actual play series featuring an all South Asian leading cast and set in a fantasy world inspired by India through her production company, Bad Auntie Entertainment.


Anjali created, produced, and led The Puppy Roll, a charity livestream event benefiting Petco Love, as the Dungeon Master and her dog Charley in 2024 and 2025, raising over $60,000 for animal rescue efforts. Anjali was honored by Petco Love with the Love Amplified award at the 2024 HCA Astras for using her platform to spread awareness for animal rescue work nationwide. Both DesiQuest and The Puppy Roll received recognition at the 2024 Anthem Awards for Social Impact, with The Puppy Roll winning three awards across multiple categories.


Onscreen, Anjali portrayed Auntie Ruby in Disney+'s Ms. Marvel, earning a 2023 HCA Astra nomination for her performance. Other notable television credits include Dead to

Me, Special, The Blacklist, Grace and Frankie, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, NCIS:LA, Law and Order: SVU, and Modern Family.


Anjali was an original cast member of the Tony-winning Metamorphoses and the Tony-nominated Bombay Dreams on Broadway. She spent years performing across the country in top organizations like Second Stage, Manhattan Theatre Club, and The Goodman Theatre.


As Global Ambassador for Games for Change, Anjali co-hosted the Games and SDG Summit at the United Nations, showcasing the potential of gaming to advance the UN’s sustainable development goals. She has also keynote at the Games For Change International Festival and she has hosted the G4C Awards multiple times.


In 2022 her debut book, I Am Fun Size, and So Are YOU!, based on her YouTube series, achieved bestseller status on The Wall Street Journal, Amazon, USA Today, and Barnes and Noble bestseller lists.


Anjali is also the executive producer and co-host of the Character Select Podcast along with longtime collaborator Julia Bianco Schoeffling. The show explores iconic games at every stage of creation and development, featuring guest appearances from game creators and performers who share insights on what makes a game truly special.


Anjali can be found in Los Angeles, most likely with a cup of coffee and rollers in her hair, walking her sweet, trusty pup, Charley.
